And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (Matt. 24:14).

This gospel—the one and only true gospel. It is the only thing that will save the souls of men. We must love it, we must live it, and we must teach it and preach it to every creature in every culture. As I have traveled around the world and the United States of America, I have observed a dark and disturbing trend in different societies. I have noticed an increasing number of young men wearing make-up on their bodies. The most common form of this is fingernail polish and eyeliner (Jer. 4:30; 2 Kings 9:30). As I thought about this, the Lord began to speak to me. Unfortunately, some who would be shocked if they saw a man wearing make-up would have no problem with a woman doing so. This is because it is highly esteemed in the eyes of society and some have become desensitized to it (Luke 16:15; Matt. 24:12).

But the Bible tells us in Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." In God’s eyes it is all the same—no matter who does it. Society’s ways do not influence God’s thinking. We will have to choose—to make allowance for these worldly trends, or for all to "worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness" (Psa. 96:9). God’s commands are the same for everybody, everywhere. "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Cor. 7:1). This is the only way anyone is going to make it to heaven! Yes, this gospel is for every man, woman, and child in every country and culture!
