Arise and Shine

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee” (Isa. 60:1).

On June 13, 1903, The Church of God arose this side of the dark ages. She has experienced many glorious times and has weathered many strong storms. Today she is still going forward with the banner of truth waving high. Her next stop is heaven by way of the rapture. In 1928 the Women's Missionary Band and its responsibilities were introduced to the General Assembly and were accepted. What a blessing it has been these 88 years to the World Mission Department, to the local church, and all other areas it serves.

It is a blessing to be a part of this great program. If we could read heaven’s diary which has recorded every tear shed and every prayer prayed for the work, and if we could see as the record is written every sacrifice made to give and the years of labor given in various ways to raise funds, what a story this would be to read!

We know one day this will be read and rewards will be given, but for now until our work is finished we will continue to be faithful, adding new chapters to the record in heaven. God bless each one for your service to Him.

World WMB Coordinator.
