Stephen Smith, Historical Notes

"After 1,578 years of the Dark Ages, the Church was destined to arise. According to the prophets, it would be found in the mountains, in a land far away from where it was originally headquartered in the land of Israel. The place chosen by God for His Church to arise was in the mountains of North Carolina, in the United States of America… A. J. Tomlinson received a divine revelation of the Lord’s Church on the top of a mountain, in a forest, in ‘fields of the wood…’ He had come under the spirit of seeking out the ‘place’ and ‘habitation’ of the Lord (See Jer. 30:18-22) [and he found it]. The Church’s greatest days are just ahead, as God fills it with divine glory. He will grant it anointing and power to take the whole gospel to the whole world. As His sheepfold, it will serve as the nucleus for the gathering of all God’s sheep. As His building it will grow into a holy temple and become the habitation of God through the Spirit. As the bride of Christ, it will put on robes of pure white and be presented to the Lord without spot or wrinkle, holy and without blemish."
